A new three storey building with external sports pitches, providing changing rooms for outdoor sports activities such as cricket and football, a community hall / youth club kitchen and council offices. One of the projects aims is that the building should be a low energy design solution and achieve a “Very Good” rating under BREEAM as well as incorporating renewable energy systems.

Barker & Steels were appointed to provide the mechanical, electrical, public health, and renewable energy system designs. The appointment also included for modelling the building CO2 emissions.
